Lauro Golf Alhaurín de la Torre is the ideal place if you come to rest on the Costa del Sol.
The design of this beautiful complex is based on respect for the environment and the nature that surrounds it, not only by safeguarding the life of each and every one of the pre-existing hundred-year-old holm oaks, but also by planting thousands of young trees, most of which are native to the area.
Throughout the complex, contact with nature is constant. Animals and birds of the area visit this complex to benefit from its micro-climate created by the amount of trees and the fourteen lakes of the golf course.
The golf course was designed by the late Folco Nardi, a course that has 27 holes, combinable nine by nine, all par 72.
The extension of holes 19 to 27, designed by Mariano Benítez, has followed this same course trend that demands concentration and skill, completing the whole course. The course can be played on foot due to its moderately flat character, although there are two holes located on the side of the mountain that give us an exceptional view of the Guadalhorce valley and the Mediterranean.
Lauro Golf Paddle School
At the Lauro Golf Paddle Club you can enjoy five paddle courts with glass walls. You will be able to practice your favorite sport in a privileged environment.
Lawn Bowls
Lawn Bowls is a traditional sport that originated in the 12th century and is practiced in several countries, reaching enormous popularity in England. It is usually played outdoors on grass or an artificial turf surface called a bowling green. The aim of this sport is to roll asymmetric balls, called bowls, as close as possible to another smaller ball, usually white, called a “jack” or “kitty”.
Due to its privileged location, Lauro Golf offers the ideal environment for complementary activities such as trekking, rail running or alpine marathon, MTB (mountain bike), etc.
Restaurant
The Club House Restaurant is located in an old Spanish “Cortijo”, in the heart of Lauro Golf Resort, between the towns of Alhaurin el Grande and Alhaurin de la Torre.
It is a Restaurant and Bar, a meeting point for golfers and residents of Lauro Golf. The place also gladly welcomes non-golfers, local businessmen and all people who want to enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere provided by its typical Andalusian patio. They offer delicious menus inspired by Spanish and international cuisine.
